Actual Size Lab turns pixels into practical print dimensions.
It is an independent browser-tool project created by Jisung Kim for people who need a photo, label, craft element or reference image to print at a known physical size.
Why the site exists
Image files are easy to describe in pixels but surprisingly awkward to print in centimetres. Gallery apps, browser print dialogs and printer drivers often add scaling without explaining the physical result. Actual Size Lab puts the requested dimensions, effective source PPI and verification step in one workflow.
What makes it different
The main tool creates a PDF in the selected paper size and orientation rather than merely displaying CSS centimetres or changing image metadata. It supports multi-image placement, exact coordinates, 90-degree rotation steps, physical size labels and a 100 mm line for verification.
Who created it
Jisung Kim is a biomedical engineering student and independent maker with an interest in photography, practical software and clear technical communication. The site does not claim institutional certification, printing-industry accreditation or affiliation with a printer manufacturer.
